Platypus Knitting Pattern (PDF)

This is a Digital PDF Pattern.
This Little Platypus is made up of two separate body parts (top and bottom) and 4 feet (left ones and right ones).
The pattern includes step-by-step instructions and two pages of colour photos showing some knitting up of the platypus, the sewing up and the embroidering of the eyes on the platypus.
This platypus is quick to knit up. Make a whole family and gift them to someone special. They will have endless hours of fun, as do my own children.
Materials
• 25g ball of 4ply black cotton/wool yarn
• 25g ball of 4ply brown cotton/wool yarn
• 2x 2.75mm (US 2) standard or double pointed needles
• tapestry needle
• a small amount of stuffing
Measurements
13.5cm long and 7.5cm wide with legs spread out.
Abbreviations
K – knit
P - purl
Kfb – knit in front and back of same stitch
Pfb – purl in front and back of same stitch
St st – stocking stitch: knit one row, purl one row
K2tog – knit two stitches together
Skpo – Slip one onto right needle, knit one, pass over slipped stitch
